Peter Hoffman, the chef and an owner of
SoHo’s comfortable Savoy, has been a proponent
of the Greenmarket cooking style for
more than 10 years. You’ll find him with his
tricycle-pulled wagon at the local farmers’
markets several times a week, picking produce
for his inspired menu of global fare—
dishes taken from Spain, Latin America,
France, Morocco and Greece, as well as
America’s various regions—brought to life
with simple, brilliant ingredients. The intimate
dining room features an open fireplace
where many of Hoffman’s rustic dishes are
cooked in the blazing hearth.
