The Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center
This Interpretive Center, situated in Great Falls, is the largest museum dedicated to the Lewis and Clark expedition and offers a wealth of information and exhibits about their famous journey.

Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument
The tranquil landscape of this monument, with its wide-open prairie and rolling hills, memorializes those who died in the military disaster of 1876 known as Custer's Last Stand.

Virginia City
At its peak, Virginia City was populated by vigilantes, villains, and desperados. Visitors today can walk the same wooden boardwalks these colorful characters strolled in the town's heyday.

Museum of the Rockies
Museum of the Rockies is home to the largest collection of American dinosaur bones in the world, nearly all of which were discovered in Montana. Under the umbrella of Montana State University, the museum gives insight into a world-class dinosaur research center.
